The Utah Utes are taking care of their non-conference schedule early in football, with Northern Colorado, Utah State and BYU all lined up in the first three weeks of the season for the Utes.
Utah kicks off the 2012 season against Northern Colorado on Thursday, Aug. 30. Its first conference game is at Arizona State on Sept 22. After a bye, the Utes host USC on Thursday, Oct. 4 in their home conference opener.
This season marks the first time since 1994 the Utes complete their non-conference schedule in the opening weeks.
The good news for Utah fans who can?t make the games in person is the availability of all games on national TV, thanks to the new ESPN and FOX media rights agreement with the Pac-12.
Utah?s crossover games against Northern divisions begin with a road game against Oregon State on Oct. 20. The Utes host back-to-back games against Northern teams Cal on Oct. 27 and Washington State on Nov. 3 before playing at Washington on Nov. 10.
The Pac-12 Championship game will be played on Friday, Nov. 30 at the home field of the team with the best overall conference record.
