THORNDIKE, Maine ? Newforest?s focus on social ecology interactive workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 10, ?This workshop will help participants to better understand class oppression and break down class barriers; offer a set of tools to help us understand our own backgrounds, live in community, and work for social and economic justice.?Sonia Acevedo, works with No Class, providing workshops and presentations about classism and economic justice. She has been active in political movements for the past 11 years, working on environmental issues, women?s health, and social justice.
The admission cost is on a sliding scale from $0 to $50.
