[prMac.com] Toronto, Canada - Tin Soldier Software today announced that their first game, Word Sling 1.0, is now available for iPad, iPhone, and the iPod touch. Word Sling combines the arcade action of touch shooting with the casual fun of word games.
In Word Sling, players shoot letters from their sling shot to make words and score points. To get the most points the player can use a variety of techniques like bombs to destroy any unwanted letters, combining letters with score multipliers to double or triple the score, or saving letters in a reserve for later. To move on to the next level the player earns badges from high scores. "You'll need to use your brain to find words, and dexterity to shoot the target!" said Cam Gray, founder of Tin Soldier Software.
Word Sling is a great game to play weather you have one free hand and 5 minutes on the subway, with friends and family, or on a quiet evening at home. Word Sling is kid friendly, and can be a fun way to help practice spelling. Word Sling is great for players of all ages and skill level.
